Our Beaches Property is located on the charming streets of Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood. Known for its sandy beaches, views of the lake and unique shops, the neighbourhood emulates a welcoming small-town feel. The neighbourhood may feel quaint but activities, entertainment and dining options are unlimited. To eat, visit Mira Mira Diner, Xola, or Toronto Beach Club. For sweets, check out Tori’s Bakeshop or Ed’s Real Scoop. For entertainment, the independent movie theatre, Fox Theatre, is just at the end of the street. Outdoor entertainment is boundless, ranging from hiking at Glen Stewart Park, Skating and Tennis at Kew Gardens, to swimming at Woodbine beach.
The three-story house offers a tremendous amount of space. The first floor is complete with an entryway vestibule, living room, dining room, kitchen, and half bathroom. Walk through the front door into the grand entryway, to the left is the living room, adorned with classic furniture, intricate stained glass, and a wood burning fireplace. Make your way to the back of the house where the dining rooms central point is the table that comfortably sits eight. On one side a light-filled nook houses a large couch and on the other, a large built-in credenza makes room for a bar and wine fridge. At the back, the modernly renovated kitchen spans the width of the house. Clean white-glossed cabinets are contrasted with deep wooden drawers. Two exterior french doors allow ample amount of light flow into the kitchen, and permit access to the spacious back deck. The hallway leading from the kitchen directs you towards the front of the house, where one has the chose to head downstairs to the family room or upstairs to the bedrooms on the second floor.
On the second floor, two single bedrooms are situated towards the front of the house - both with plenty of storage and access to the front balcony. At the back of the house, an additional bedroom with a Queen bed, is privately tucked away. The three-piece bathroom with a walk-in shower is located in the centre of the house, perfectly situated between the three bedrooms. Lastly, the at-home office space is complete with a built-in bookcase, storage, an antique wooden desk, and a comfortable office chair.
The entire third floor is occupied by the principle bedroom. At the top of the stairs, a cozy lounge space is furnished with a chaise lounge and coffee bar. Along the adjacent wall, built-in closets align towards the bedroom. The principle bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, antique wooden dressers, a desk and a discrete tv. Windows boarder the room with skylights facing the bed and large bay windows facing the front of the house. The three-piece ensuite bathroom boasts an authentic towel radiator and an additional sky-light.
The walk-out basement acts as a family room and sitting half above ground, provides an ample amount of natural light. The space is furnished with a spacious L-shape couch, large flat-screen tv, a work desk and game area. A spa-like four-piece bathroom boasts a Jacuzzi and gas fireplace. An additional laundry room doubles as a cleaning supply closet. Drawers and a bench provide a generous amount of storage for coats, boots and bags, needed as you exit through the basement backdoor.
Outside, the back patio houses the bbq and bar, the entertaining area and hot tub. The bottom level of the backyard is a paved cobblestone driveway, garden beds and space for the freestanding chiminea. An outdoor parking pad provides parking for two cars (or 4 small ones).
